...We are so STOKED that The Tea Spot is donating Steep & Go's for every participant of our upcoming race! Everyone in our office uses them and can't get enough!
Boulder, CO (PRWEB) September 30, 2013
The Tea Spot is making an in-kind product donation to help fuel the wellness of all the participants in the upcoming National Race to End Women's Cancer taking place in Washington, DC on November 3, 2013. The Tea Spot’s mission of fostering health and wellness through loose leaf tea is embodied in this donation of Steep & Go™ cold brew tea filters and Cold Infusions™ loose tea packs that will allow runners to enjoy a fresh brewed bottle of tea immediately after the race.
This donation is part of The Tea Spot’s ongoing 10% Pledge, where they donate 10% of all profits in-kind to cancer wellness and community programs. The tea company’s commitment to fostering wellness is fueled by their founder and CEO, a cancer survivor initially drawn to the health benefits of premium tea during her own recovery.
Attilie Carrig, Director of Corporate Communications and Registrations for the National Race to End Women's Cancer commented on the donation: "The National Race to End Women's Cancer is dedicated to shining a bright light on the 5 "below-the-belt" gynecologic cancers. We are so STOKED that The Tea Spot is donating Steep & Go's for every participant of our upcoming race! Everyone in our office uses them and can't get enough!"
Maria Uspenski, The Tea Spot’s CEO was also emphatic about her enthusiasm for her company’s donation: “There’s no more productive use for our products than in this event where everyone’s focused on raising awareness and stamping out for women’s cancers. Our company’s vision is to contribute to people’s wellness every day. Our 10% Pledge is a cornerstone of our company’s vision. And we develop our products, and notably, the Steep & Go™, with that goal clearly in focus. So in my mind, The National Race to End Women's Cancer is the ideal partner for helping to make our vision a reality.”
The Tea Spot’s donation for each race participant will include a Steep & Go™ cold brew tea filter, and a pack of Cold Infusions™ Keep Fit tea. Steep & Go™ makes it easy to make fresh cold brewed tea on-the-go, as it filters tea leaves from any bottle of water, while at the same time giving tea leaves maximum room to expand and steep to their full potential. The Steep & Go™ cold brew tea filter has a hands-free sports cap, thus turning and bottled water into a sports bottle. This is paired with Cold Infusions™—a new line of cold brew loose tea, specially formulated for making single servings of fresh iced tea on-the-go. Cold Infusions™ are 100% certified organic, all natural, sugar-free and flavoring-free loose leaf tea packs. They cold brew on-the-go in ten minutes. Specifically, “Keep Fit” is a light and flavorful green tea blend formulated to offer a natural source of antioxidants and metabolism support. It is a 100% organic blend of single-estate Chinese green tea with green rooibos and lemon myrtle.
All of The Tea Spot’s cold brew tea products aforementioned are available at their online tea store, http://theteaspot.com .
