College-Bound Student-Athletes Gain a New Level of Support
US Performance Academy (USPA) and College Prospects of America (CPOA) have created a partnership in order to provide and expand support for young, college-bound student-athletes.
ELKINS, N.H., Oct. 1, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- US Performance Academy (USPA) and College Prospects of America (CPOA) have created a partnership in order to provide and expand support for young, college-bound student-athletes.
USPA is an accredited, NCAA approved, private, online, middle & high school created for high-performance athletes. Designed by athletes and educators, the approach benefits driven students who are training, traveling, competing, and pushing to the next level. The online curriculum allows for a flexible school schedule and academic calendar. The support system keeps students involved, motivated, and on track to success. And the focus on the student-athletes future goals and aspirations opens up a doorway to future opportunities.
"Our student-athletes are passionate about not only their athletics but their academics as well," said Pete Smith, President of USPA. "We want each student to reach their goal, whether it is college, career, or Olympic-level. In creating this partnership with CPOA, navigation of the college prep, application, and selection process just got a whole lot easier for our families."
CPOA's mission is to help families find the best education at the best possible price, while allowing them to continue to participate in a sport they love. Through cutting-edge technology, personalized promotion, and expertise gained from years of cultivating relationships with colleges and universities, CPOA puts students in contact with the schools that are the best fits for them. This allows the student and their family to analyze different opportunities and make the correct school selection for their specific situation.
"We are excited to have found a unique school in USPA that caters to such hard-working young athletes," said Oscar Subirats, President and CEO of College Prospects of America. "Navigating the process as a young college prospect is not a simple task. Add the busy schedule of an athlete into that and it gets even more complicated. We are happy to help along the way and are looking forward to meeting the parents and students at USPA."
