M&S Technologies, Inc. Introduces ColorCheck Color Vision Testing
Niles, IL (PRWEB) November 22, 2013 -- ColorCheck can accurately detect, classify and quantify the degree of color vision deficiencies in patients of all ages. The fully-randomizable test eliminates the potential for providing high frequency clues to the patient, which is a risk associated with computerized color cone tests.
The ColorCheck protocol displays a series of patterned LEA numbers or symbols to the patient and prompts them for the answer. The test can be easily performed through the Smart System at distance, or on the Smart System tablet at near.
"In developing ColorCheck, we wanted to retain the integrity of standardized color testing books while adding the benefit of real-time randomization. Both versions (distance and near) accomplish this goal and give the eyecare professional an easy, user-friendly technology to check for protan, deutan and tritan color deficiencies." Joe Marino, President.
