Erlanger Agency of Columbus, OH, is heading a charity drive to assist a young local woman’s three-year battle with a rare form of bone cancer and lung cancer. The initiative is part of the insurance agency’s long-term ‘Agents of Change’ movement, a robust community involvement program which provides local charities, families and individuals with desperately needed support and fundraising. Donations to help young Ashleigh continue her fight against cancer made now be made at: https://fundrazr.com/campaigns/3eAB0.

It’s been almost three years since a beautiful 19-year-old local girl named Ashleigh began experiencing pain in her knee. Doctors soon realized that she was suffering from osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer which only affects 1% of the population. When cancerous nodules were discovered in her lungs, Ashleigh and her family knew they were in for the battle of their lives. Three long years of ongoing surgeries, chemotherapy and other treatments have left the family in dire need of financial support.

“Ashleigh and her family have traveled a long and difficult road,” said Bob Erlanger, owner of Erlanger Agency. “These good people need help with expenses immediately, and we’re happy to help in whatever way possible. Our hope is to lift some of the financial burden so that Ashleigh and those who love her may concentrate on what is most important – regaining her health.”

The caring team at Erlanger Agency has pledged to contribute $10 to Ashleigh’s family for each person recommended to them for an insurance quotation, with no purchase necessary, making it so very easy for everyone in the community to pitch in and help.
