iMAX Medical Billing’s EHR has Achieved Meaningful Use 2014 Certification as a Complete EHR
Columbus, Ohio (PRWEB) December 30, 2013 -- iMAX announced that their EHR, the 2014 Meaningful Use version of its industry leading health record software, has been tested and certified as a Complete EHR that supports both Stage 1 and Stage 2 Meaningful Use measures. The 2014 technology was certificated by the Drummond Group as part of the Office of the National Coordinator – Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB) program. All Eligible Professionals that want to qualify for funding next year under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) also known as the Meaningful Use program must use an ONC-ACB 2014 certified version of EHR technology. This recognition means that iMAX’s EHR software already has all of the functionality that Eligible Professionals require for 2014 and that the system does not need any additional testing or certification.
“This complete certification is evidence of our continuing commitment to the Meaningful Use program. The Stage 2 Meaningful Use program is technically more complex than the first stage, yet we have achieved this complete certification more than six months before the January 2014 deadline,” said Dr. Seth Flam, HealthFusion president and chief executive officer. “As one of just five pure ambulatory EHR companies to achieve this certification, iMAX Medical Billing continues to be an industry leader with regard to the adoption of the most modern EHR software standards and workflows. This early adoption will afford our users the benefit of a longer lead-time to prepare for immediate success in the next stage of Meaningful Use. In addition, I am confident we are creating the industry’s best Stage 2 EHR user experience and by utilizing our EHR Data Import Wizard™, many providers that use older technology will be able to efficiently convert to the iMAX cloud platform.”
