New Charity Initiative Launched by Browns Insurance and the Downtown Baltimore Family Alliance Promises Support for Maryland Residents

Browns Insurance, a family managed firm providing insurance services and financial consulting from offices headquartered in Anne Arundel Country, is joining local nonprofit Downtown Baltimore Family Alliance for a charity effort to provide support programs to regional families.

The Downtown Baltimore Family Alliance is a nonprofit group offering residents in the greater Baltimore/DC area a series of programs that increase access to educational opportunities, improve cultural and community involvement, and connect local residents with a support network that encouraged and empowers local families to succeed.

“The goal of the DBFA charity event is to provide all nearby families with access to programs that provide a positive impact and ensure all residents in our community enjoy the quality life they deserve,” says Stefen Smallwood, the acting director and founder of Browns Insurance.

Smallwood and his team are on a mission to gather assistance and donations for the DBFA charity drive by connecting and sharing information with nearby families and business owners over a dedicated social media presence and email bulletin system. The Downtown Baltimore Family Alliance is the third of many area charitable organizations scheduled to receive direct assistance from the Browns Insurance team over the coming months.
