More than 1200 youth hockey sites on the global Sport Ngin platform were judged and graded, with points assigned in categories such as Design, Navigation, Content, Team Pages, History, Alumni, Photos, Video and more. The Colorado Rampage site stood out for its striking home page design and variety of content that included a Players of the Week feature and detailed history and alumni section.
The Colorado Rampage hockey club was founded in 2002 by Schenectady, N.Y., native Andrew Sherman. It is based out of the Greater Colorado Springs, Monument and Castle Rock areas of Colorado.
Closing out the Top 5 hockey website rankings were #2 Springfield (IL) Youth Hockey Association, #3 Lakeville (MN) Hockey Association, #4 Ridge Meadows (BC) Minor Hockey Association. #5 Stillwater (MN) Area Hockey Association.
Honorable mentions were handed out to Bemidji (MN) Youth Hockey, Davis County (UT) Youth Hockey Association, Osseo-Maple Grove (MN) Hockey Association, Roseau (MN) Hockey, San Jose (CA) Jr. Sharks.
