The principal agents at CSR Real Estate Services, Brian Bonafede, Steve Bonafede and Tony Odom, along with over 40 of their top agents have joined Compass, effective immediately. CSR will no longer continue as a brokerage.
The team’s move to Compass speaks to the company’s continued momentum in the South Bay, where Compass’ presence continues to grow at a rapid pace. Compass ranks as the #1 brokerage in Silicon Valley and remains committed to growth and expansion. In addition to the increase in the residential presence, CSR's commercial division will establish Compass' commercial presence in the Silicon Valley.

While Compass dominates the Northern California market with over 3,500 agents and more than 80 offices, they have 465 agents serving the South Bay area alone. Large walkovers from competing brokerages are not rare; less than 60 days ago, another large group joined Compass in San Jose bringing full-time agents with them.
The CSR Bonafede team will continue to occupy its current headquarters, which will become an additional Compass office in San Jose and will operate under the management of Compass Sales Manager Dave Walsh.
