Concorde Career College Announces New Medical Laboratory Technician Program in Memphis
Memphis, Tennessee (PRWEB) March 19, 2014 -- Concorde Career College in Memphis has launched a new Medical Laboratory Technician Associates Degree program on their Memphis campus. The first classes begin in June, 2014. Students will be able to earn this Associate of Applied Science degree and gain the skills and knowledge needed to become a medical laboratory technician in as little as 20 months.
Medical laboratory technicians are the detectives of the health care world. They evaluate and assure accuracy and validity of laboratory information as they search for clues to help in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Concorde’s program is designed to prepare students for national certification. The program integrates traditional classroom instruction and “hands on” practice in a newly built campus laboratory along with real-world externship experience in affiliated medical hospital and clinic laboratories.
