Concorde Career College in Portland Chosen as City Host for The American Association of Respiratory Care’s 2013 International Fellowship Program
Portland, Oregon (PRWEB) November 15, 2013 -- For the second year in a row, Concorde’s outstanding Portland campus had the privilege of being selected City Host for The American Association of Respiratory Care’s Fellowship Program.
Established in 1990, AARC’s International Fellowship Program gives non-U.S. health care professionals a chance to visit and observe respiratory care as it is practiced here in the United States.
This year, Portland welcomed Dr. Mohamad El-Khatib from Lebanon. Dr. Khatib is a professor of anesthesiology and is committed to the advancement of respiratory care outside the United States. With the opportunity to observe how respiratory care is taught, delivered and managed here in the United States, Dr. Khatib hopes to help develop state-of-the-art practices and guidelines for respiratory care back home in Lebanon.
Concorde is proud to be selected as host for this fellowship visit and to provide this educational opportunity. We are honored to be a part of expanding respiratory therapy knowledge into other countries.
