Concorde Celebrates Addition of Pharmacy Technician Program in Kansas City
Kansas City, MO (PRWEB) January 28, 2014 -- Carlos Gomez, President of Kansas City’s Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Jami Frazier, Campus President, and Patrick Albert, Concorde President & CEO, participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony inside the mock-pharmacy, one of the hands on lab areas used in this new program.
Also in attendance were Ann Yokley, President of Credentialing Experts in Kansas City, several members of the program advisory board, program faculty and community members. Attendees toured the new Pharmacy Technician classroom and labs and experienced the hands on training Concorde students receive in this new program.
Students in Concorde’s new Pharmacy Technician program receive seven months of classroom and laboratory training at the Broadway campus and then spend two months in externships, working in actual pharmacies gaining practical, in the field experience.
