Unbalanced counts in blackjack card counting system have been known for years, but author Conrad Membrino thinks that there was no easy and quick way to convert it to a true count. He created a table of critical running counts where a true count can quickly be referenced by just referring to the running count and estimating decks played with no division or calculations necessary in “Blackjack KO with Table of Critical Running Counts” (published by Xlibris).
This book is the first of five books covering a primary count and plus/minus side counts for Blackjack and Spanish 21. This book will cover just the primary KO count along with a table of critical running counts (crcs) for eight, six, four and two decks that allow a quick conversion to a KO true count depending on the number of decks played and the KO count. Also included will be identities such as relationships between the Infinite Deck Indices, AACpTCp (Average Advantage Change per True count point) and SD (Standard Deviation of the tag values of a given count).
“Playing blackjack with Hi-Low, I realized that with true count errors increase as the true count increased and true count calculations were arduous,” Membrino says. “I knew about unbalance counts, but there was no easy way to calculate true counts thus I did my own analysis of true count calculations and came up with the table of critical running counts, so true counts do not need to be calculated but merely mentally looked up.”
Through the publication of “Blackjack KO with Table of Critical Running Counts,” Membrino hopes blackjack players will realize that blackjack counting should be easy with minimum calculations and not some arduous task. He hopes that by sharing what he learned, they can still enjoy playing blackjack without the mental exhaustion.
