Consilium Staffing Participates in Children’s Health Holiday Parade, Radiothon, and More through Consilium Cares Initiative this Christmas
Irving, Texas (PRWEB) December 23, 2014 -- Consilium Staffing, Your Partner in Locum Tenens, donated time and resources to a number of charitable causes this holiday season through Consilium Cares, the company’s philanthropic program.
Most recently the healthcare staffing firm participated in two events for Children’s Health System of Texas (Children’s Health). On Saturday, December 6th, Consilium employees held various volunteer positions in the 27th Annual Children’s Health Holiday Parade through the streets of downtown Dallas.
On Friday, December 12th, employees took to the phones to take donations at the hospital for the Christmas is for Children Radiothon, which raised more than $1 million. At the same event, Consilium presented a $1,065 check from its Change for Children penny war fundraiser held earlier this fall.
“Children’s Health is a great system doing incredible work, and we feel blessed to have the opportunity to further their mission of helping children along their medical journeys,” said Consilium Executive Vice President, Matt Baade.
Consilium Staffing employees also donated gifts to 12 children this holiday season through The Salvation Army’s Christmas Angel Tree. The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program provides new clothing and toys for children of less fortunate families through the support of donors.
Lastly, Consilium participated in Movember, raising more than $600 dollars to help change the face of men’s health and fund programs to improve the lives of men affected by prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health issues.

In addition, Consilium would also like to give special thanks to Chris Sheets, Technology Director, Stephan Terrill, Creative Manager, and Mike Stine, Recruiting Consultant, for their hard work in organizing the company’s Movember initiative and coordination of gift giving to the Salvation Army’s Christmas Angel Tree.
