Expert Heavy Equipment to Hold Its First Annual Photo Contest via Facebook

One of the nation’s only female Marine Veteran owned heavy equipment wholesalers has set its first annual photo contest for September.

Some say that a picture can say a thousand words, and thanks to Expert Heavy Equipment’s (EHE) First Annual Photo Contest, customers, fans, individuals within the construction industry will now be able to do exactly that.

"Our Facebook heavy equipment community continues to grow and support one, so we want to simply show our appreciation," said Milissa Wise, director of operations for EHE, which is a female, Marine-Veteran owned heavy equipment wholesaler.

“The grand prize-winner will receive $250; the first runner up will receive an EHE duffel bag and the second runner up will receive an EHE baseball cap.”

Wise explained that the photo submission period of the contest kicks off Sept. 5, and will run through Sept. 12.

After entries are submitted, fans will be able to vote for their favorite photo on EHE’s Facebook page, from Sept. 12 - Sept. 19.

The company spokeswoman went on to point out that fans can submit photos directly to the EHE’s Facebook Photo Contest tab, or through Twitter using the hashtag: #EHEphotocontest.

All submissions will be automatically fed into the customized Facebook tab on EHE’s page, where fans will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite photos.

“The winner will be chosen from the top 10 photos, as voted on by fans,” Wise said, before adding, “You must be a fan of Expert Heavy Equipment on Facebook to view the photos and vote.”

As for the benefit of participating in EHE’s first photo contest, Wise said, “In addition to the prizes, the winning photos will be seen by over one hundred thousand people on our Facebook page.”
