Brent Moore in July to help more Tennessee families avoid losing their homes to foreclosure. With over a decades’ worth of legal experience litigating cases in a range of practice areas including workers’ compensation, construction defects and foreclosure defense, Moore represented a perfect fit for the national foreclosure defense team at Consumer Attorney Services.
Moore currently works as a partner at Ortale, Kelley, Herbert & Crawford in Nashville, Tennessee. His primary practice areas include constitutional torts, insurance defense, personal injury, product liability, worker’s compensation and foreclosure defense.
Throughout the state of Tennessee, Moore has tried hundreds of cases to conclusion as lead counsel in both Circuit and Chancery Court. He litigates cases in both the state and federal courts.
Before working with Ortale, Kelley, Herbert & Crawford, Moore worked with Harleysville Insurance Companies as a litigation negotiator. He also worked for the Federated Mutual Insurance Company as a claims supervisor.
Moore graduated from the Nashville School of Law earning a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in 2001. Prior to law school, he attended the University of Tennessee and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science.
Moore’s court admissions include the state of Tennessee, the Tennessee Supreme Court and several United States district courts. He is admitted in the United States District Court for the Eastern, Western, and Middle District.
He is a member of numerous professional associations including the Tennessee Bar Association and the Nashville Bar Association. He is also a member of the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association and the Defense Research Institute.
Moore strives to keep his legal skills sharp by regularly providing seminars concerning auto insurance coverage including underinsured / uninsured coverage and workers’ compensation matters. He has also spoken for a local adoption agency concerning his experiences with international adoption.
