JotForm Design Contest Receives Over 1,000 Signups in the First Day
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) November 05, 2014 -- Just 24 hours into JotForm’s Web Form Design Awards, the company is more than encouraged by what they’re seeing from participants. The contest, which just launched November 4, has received over 1,000 signups, and the organization expects many more.
“When we began this contest, we did not anticipate some of the amazing forms that people would design,” said JotForm Founder Aytekin Tank. “It’s been so fun watching what people come up with.”
Long known for allowing users to create simple, hassle-free forms, JotForm launched their Form Designer last month, catering to web designers who needed a faster way to make more intricate, customized forms. Forms that used to require hours of CSS coding can now be completed in a fraction of the time.
The company expects the number of contestants to grow considerably.
“Right from the beginning there’s been excitement from our users to try the new Form Designer, and the contest is a great excuse for everyone to give it a try for the first time,” Tank said. “We anticipate we’ll be getting quite a few more entries based on the early buzz around the contest.”
JotForm will continue taking submissions until Thursday, Dec. 4 when the Web Form Design Awards officially ends. The top form receives $7,500, with category selections receiving $500 each. Other prizes include free subscriptions from JotForm’s partners, t-shirts, and lifetime premium JotForm account memberships. The panel of judges for the contest include top designers, magazine editors, authors, and entrepreneurs.
Since JotForm’s inception in 2006, it has been known for allowing users to make easy forms. The company recently launched its Form Designer, allowing web designers to create beautiful forms in less time than ever.
