Houston (PRWEB) July 31, 2014

The 2nd annual feedONE Houston Fundraiser is scheduled for Thursday, September 25, 2014, at Mr. Peeples in Houston, Texas.

The goal of the event is to raise $100,000 for feedONE, a Convoy of Hope initiative. Currently, Convoy of Hope feeds more than 146,000 children in 11 countries around the world.

“We are proud to partner with the generous Houston community,” says Chris Sonksen, executive director of feedONE. “Together, we will continue our fight against world hunger and change the lives of thousands of children in need.”

Houston radio personality, Rod Ryan from The Rod Ryan Show on 94.5 The Buzz, will emcee the event where all proceeds — including the cost of admission — will be used to feed hungry children. Tickets to the event cost $75 each, and include VIP access to the event, hors d’oeuvres, refreshments and special entertainment. Last year, hundreds of people attended and raised more than $60,000 to feed children in need.

Mr. Peeples is located at 1911 Bagby Street in Houston.
