SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (PRWEB) September 15, 2015 -- International humanitarian relief organization, Convoy of Hope and its counterpart Convoy of Hope Europe are engaged with partners in Europe and the Middle East bringing food and disaster relief supplies to refugees in desperate need.
“We are actively working responses in both regions,” says Mike Clark, senior advisor and senior policy director of International Program. “Already, we have sent funding to partners in Macedonia to help with food distribution and our teams will distribute food and supplies in Northern France.”
Earlier this year, Convoy of Hope distributed baby formula, winter jackets, food, fuel and other emergency relief supplies to more than 13,000 refugees in refugee camps in the Middle East.
“Our work in the Middle East and other countries has been ongoing and has focused on refugees from all backgrounds and circumstances,” says Chris Dudley, Disaster Services response director.
According to Clark and Dudley the crisis will be ongoing. Follow our response at http://www.convoyofhope.org.
