Girl’s Night Out to Benefit Core Compassion Project
Monroe, NC (PRWEB) September 12, 2014 -- A Union County charitable organization will host a Girl’s Night Out to benefit Core Compassion Project. Core Compassion Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to offering Pilates scholarships to cancer patients to attend a specialized program to reduce the side effects of cancer treatments and recover their mobility, strength, and range of motion following breast cancer surgery. Your support of this event will go towards the scholarship of a local cancer survivor in the community and will allow them to have private sessions at partnering Pilates and fitness studios.
Girl’s Night Out to benefit Core Compassion Project will be held on September 18th, 6:00pm-9:00pm at the beautiful Morning Glory Farm, 6205 Kate Road in Monroe, North Carolina. One of the three main sponsors of this event, Core Studio Pilates and Yoga provided three scholarship recipients a series of sessions from 2013-2104. Housed in a beautiful, historic building in downtown Monroe, NC, Core Studio Pilates and Yoga was featured in Shape and Pilates Style magazines in 2014. Instructors who work with the Core Compassion Project scholarship recipients are STOTT PILATES and Pink Ribbon Program certified and demonstrate a passion for providing caring and thoughtful service so that the survivors can restore their physical strength and mental well-being.
Owned by Scott and Nan Vuncannon since 2006, the wooded paths and lush landscape of Morning Glory Farm provides a romantic backdrop for lovely outdoor weddings, their main source of business. It is not simply just a farm but it is also a home, a space where love grows and memories are made. Morning Glory Farm was featured in Charlotte Magazine in April 2013 and was the setting for the magazine’s photo shoot in July 2014. The Vuncannon’s have generously served as a main sponsor for Core Compassion Project’s fall event since its inception.
This special event’s food will be provided by Kate Clyde's Catered Creations – a third main sponsor. Whether your event is a corporate or social function, Kate Clyde’s offers off-premise catering and event services from casual to elegant. They are also the home of the multi-award winning Little Red Pig Championship BBQ Team with a wide variety of customizable menu options. Katheryn Eason Davis and her crew have generously served as a main sponsor for Core Compassion Project’s fall event since its inception.
