Cornerstone Community Church in Wildomar Reaffirms Partnership with Parents
Wildomar, Ca (PRWEB) September 01, 2015 -- As a new school year begins, Cornerstone Community Church in Wildomar, Ca has made some significant changes to its already vibrant children and youth programs. Most notable is the completely redesigned environment for infants through preschool-age children. The 8,000 plus square foot area was designed to resemble a train station, complete with 13 classrooms decorated as train cars, store fronts, and a train yard. Throughout the environment, you can hear the sounds of birds chirping, the train conductor announcing arrivals, and the engine’s brakes.
On the weekend of September 12-13, Cornerstone Kidz, the ministry to children in kindergarten through fifth grade, will be moving into the newly remodeled Youth Chapel, which will be themed differently for every new teaching series. They will also enjoy a new shaded playground structure. Middle schoolers will also be moving to a new area and adding an additional service time—Saturdays at 5:00pm. This is in addition to their regular meetings on Sundays at 10:20am and Tuesdays from 6:30pm.
The high school group is moving to an area of the campus called the “Small Church,” which has a coffee house themed environment. This will provide the growing ministry an opportunity to expand their worship experience with a high-quality sound system and give them added square footage. This group will continue to meet on Sundays at 10:20am and Wednesdays at 6:30.
Senior Pastor Ron Armstrong said, “We have always been committed to the whole family here at Cornerstone, but with the recent changes we have made to our children and youth programs and facilities, we are really showing that commitment on a new level. We hope the next Billy Graham comes out of this church, and we are dedicated to giving our kids and young people the tools they need to begin pursuing a life of faith in Jesus.”
Nick Johnson, High School Pastor at CCC, added, “It is my hope that students who go through our family ministry programs will build a solid faith foundation in their lives that they can stand on as they move into the increased independence of young adulthood.”
