Court.us.org Launches Independent Review of Its Public Records
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) July 04, 2013 -- Court.us.org has hired an agency to do an independent review of their public records legal database, the company said yesterday.
“We know that due to clerical error, mistakes can be introduced into the database,” a Court.us.org spokesman said yesterday. “This review is designed to identify those errors and remove them from our database as quickly as possible.”
During the review, the company will use software that can match Court.us.org's records against other public databases and flag any inconsistencies. When they find one, it will be tracked to the source and ensured that it is made accurate.
“This review will help us serve our customers better,” the Court.us.org spokesman said. “They have the right to the most accurate records we can provide them, and this review will make that happen.”
Errors get introduced into public records when clerks at courthouses input inaccurate information, the Court.us.org spokesman said. But because the information generally needs to be inputted multiple times by different people, the inaccuracies can be tracked with the right software.
“It's just a matter of doing a complete review so that you get to the bottom of things and make sure every record is on the up and up,” the Court.us.org spokesman said. “We think it's worth the time and expense to review all of our records.”
The review is expected to take about a month, he said.
