Miami Beach, FL (PRWEB) August 06, 2013
Though travelers may use the South Beach diet to slim down before their visits to Miami, planned renovations at the Courtyard Miami South Beach hope to bulk up the hotel’s lobby for added luxury and sophistication.
Highlights of the welcome space include chic décor, a new main desk and stone wall with vintage photographs of the historic Miami Beach hotel building. An original terrazzo, built in the 1940s and protected as a historical artifact, will be left on the floor as well to link the hotel’s rich history to its bright future.
Renovations at the hotel near Lincoln Road in Miami Beach are scheduled from Aug. 1 through Sept.15, 2013, and are specific to the lobby. Hotel managers do not expect the project to affect the comfort and convenience of its visitors. Guests staying during this time, however, will benefit from a special offer that will give them 15 percent off another stay so they can check out the new lobby and its features.
Also coming soon to the Lincoln Road hotel is The Bistro - Eat. Drink. Connect. The new, café-style restaurant in Miami Beach is expected to raise the bar on breakfast and dinner and will feature strategically placed flat-screen TVs displaying news, entertainment and sports programming with plenty of flexible seating. Families or small business groups will be able to gather around a large communal table to enjoy fresh seasonal fruit, thick-cut French toast, burgers, pizzas, salads, soups and made-to-order sandwiches. Diners also will be able to pull up a chair at the bar or enjoy comfortable seating at additional tables while imbibing craft, domestic and imported beers, wines by the glass, cocktails or any number of grande-sized Starbucks drinks.
The hotel lounge will stay open during the renovation for guests to enjoy free wireless Internet access or just sit back and relax with their favorite drink.
Honoring its well-known tradition of excellence, rooms within the Art Deco South Beach hotel feature luxurious bedding on one king or two queen-sized mattresses including cotton-rich sheets, custom comforters and fluffier pillows. Comfortable pull-out sofa beds, large desks with ergonomic chairs, irons and ironing boards, coffeemakers, flat-screen TVs and Paul Mitchell products in spacious bathrooms are available in all rooms.
Vacationers have access to six nearby golf courses, a state-of-the-art fitness center, South Beach, and a rooftop pool.
