Crescent Products--Maker of the Original Dental Headrest--Introduces New Knee Support to Bodyrest System; Improves Patient Comfort in the Dental Chair
Minneapolis, Minnesota (PRWEB) April 29, 2014 -- Crescent Products is pleased to announce the introduction of its new Knee Support pad, which is part of its full Bodyrest System. Now with a longer, smoother upward slope, the Knee Support allows the patient’s legs to rest in a more natural position to relieve pressure on the lower back and hips. The new Knee Support also improves stability and alignment of the patient in the dental chair.
The Knee Support is designed to be used with the full Crescent Bodyrest System, a four-pad system consisting of the trademarked Crescent Bodyrest Headrest, Backrest, Knee Support and Chair Pad. All four pads work together to align patients for their maximum comfort as well as create perfect ergonomic positioning of the patient to reduce strain for dentists and hygienists; perfect for cosmetic and sedation dentistry. While the Knee Support relieves pressure on the lower back and hips, the Headrest supports the patient’s neck and allows the head to tilt backwards and for the jaw to naturally turn up in an open-forward position. The Backrest supports the patient’s lumbar region and fills the natural gap formed between the patient’s back and the chair. The Chair Pad cushions and conforms to the patient’s entire body, relieving pressure points and relaxing the patient.
Priced at less than $500, the Crescent Bodyrest System is an affordable option to spending thousands of dollars on an ergonomically designed dental chair. The System fits in an existing dental chair, and, because it correctly positions patients in the dental chair, the System also helps prevent the progression toward chronic pain or potential injury to dentists and hygienists.
All of the Crescent Bodyrest pads are available in black, gray, beige and teal as well as in two new colors: navy and spruce. Crescent Products also makes the Crescent Child Booster Seat, the Memory Foam U-Shaped Neck Support, and the Crescent Osteo Pillow—all of which are also available in all six colors.
