Advanced education partnerships enhance professional development.

Charter Schools USA (CSUSA), long recognized for its dedication to providing state-of-the-art professional development, has engaged in strategic partnerships with several universities to offer tuition discounts to all CSUSA faculty and staff for bachelor’s, master’s degree and doctorate programs. The university partnerships currently in place include:

  •     American College of Education
  •     Florida International University (with the Academic Partnerships network)
  •     St. Thomas University (with the HotChalk partner network)
  •     University of West Florida (with the Academic Partnerships network)
  •     Western Governors University

Additional partnerships are currently being explored and employees must meet eligibility requirements to be considered for the programs.

“As professional educators, our team understands how important life-long learning is for every individual,” said Sherry Hage, chief academic officer for Charter Schools USA. “By partnering with higher education entities, we provide an opportunity to our staff to continually hone their skills and become the very best educators and staff in the country.”

CSUSA places a strong emphasis on professional development and has recently opened a first-of-its-kind professional innovation center at its corporate headquarters. This training center is part of CSUSA’s commitment to keeping its team up on the very latest technology and information available to provide the highest level of education for students.

“Our culture is all about professional development and advanced education,” added Hage. “The more we can invest in our team and provide opportunities to further their education, the better it is for students who will ultimately benefit.”

Founded in 1997 by Jonathan Hage, Charter Schools USA is the first education management company in the United States to receive district accreditation through AdvancED and is one of the nation’s leading charter school management companies. In 2015, CSUSA will manage 76 schools in seven states serving nearly 70,000 students in Kindergarten through 12th grade. CSUSA’s innovative educational advantages include advanced technology, meaningful parental involvement, student uniforms, consistent and fairly enforced discipline policies, highly qualified and motivated staff, community focus, integrated character education and high academic growth and performance.
