CT Fertility Hosts a Father's Day Celebration for NYC Dads-to-Be
Bridgeport, CT (PRWEB) May 29, 2014 -- The leading fertility center CT Fertility is inviting prospective parents in the NYC region to a special Father's Day reception and an interactive panel about how new technology, insurance regulations and financial assistance options are making surrogacy parenting more attainable. The reception will offer an opportunity for future dads to meet new fathers, and some of the dozens of gay NY couples who are already in process with CT Fertility and will celebrate their first Father's Day by next June. It will be followed by an interactive panel where aspiring dads will hear from two of the community’s most experienced and trusted surrogacy and egg donation providers: renowned physician, Dr. Michael Doyle of CT Fertility, and leading reproductive lawyer, Vicki Ferrara of Worldwide Surrogacy Specialists. Dr. Doyle and Attorney Ferrara practice in both NYC and in Connecticut, and have already teamed up for numerous successful surrogacy journeys. In addition, a representative from the nonprofit Men Having Babies will provide information about available discounts and financial aid through the Gay Parenting Assistance Program.
More than a thousand gay men worldwide already became parents with the help of the clinic –a fact readily evidenced by the clinic’s extremely high popularity on several independent ratings and review tables. “We are proud that just this past year more than two dozen NY gay couples and singles became dads with our help, and we are inviting them to celebrate their first Father’s Day with us,” said Dr. Doyle. “We hope they will inspire the many who also hope to become parents. We would like to share with them how they, too, can take advantage of the most innovative technologies and broadest egg donation and IVF options to build their family, their way.” Dr. Doyle will present the range of egg donation options (including Egg Sharing and Frozen Egg Bank programs) the advanced embryology team of CT Fertility can offer, and cost control options such as the guaranteed number of eggs, progressive discounts, and unlimited IVF and Egg Donation packages.
Attendees will also hear from attorney Ferrara about the specifics of insurance coverage for maternity and newborn care –including how the Affordable Care Act may help lower some of these costs, and the legal and cost implication of the location of your surrogate and egg donor.
Both CT Fertility and Worldwide Surrogacy Specialist are among the major contributors to the Gay Parenting Assistance Program (GPAP), and offer discounts and bro-bono services to eligible parents. Dr. Doyle is also the resident expert on some of the most prominent community portals including Family Equality Council, Proud Parenting and the NYC LGBT Community Center. "We are proud to have been one of the first IVF clinics to welcome and proactively help gay men to become parents," said Dr. Doyle. “We know gay prospective especially appreciate our wide range of treatment and egg donation options, including unique features that are important for male couple such as known egg donors and our new 'freeze & hold' option."
