CUneXus Proceeds to Innotribe Startup Challenge 2014 Semifinals
Santa Rosa, CA. (PRWEB) April 28, 2014 -- CUneXus is excited to announce its entry into the semifinals of the Innotribe Startup Challenge 2014. The news comes just days in advance of the company's scheduled presentation at Finovate, where it plans to debut several innovative new lending solutions. The company has also made a key addition to its advisory board, with the signing of financial executive and venture capitalist, Shami Patel.
The Innotribe Startup Challenge is a year-round program featuring three regional showcases in Europe, Asia, and the Americas where participants deliver fast-paced company pitches before an audience of financial industry decision makers and investors. Presenters were chosen from hundreds of financial technology startups based on their potential to deliver significant sustaining or disruptive innovation to the global financial industry.
CUneXus has also been selected as one of 70 startups and established companies to present at FinovateSpring, April 29, at City National Civic in San Jose, California. CUneXus will unveil their ground-breaking lending solutions to an audience of nearly 1500 banking and financial executives, venture capitalists, members of the press, and entrepreneurs.
This dynamic startup's solution is based on CUneXus' Comprehensive Prescreened Lending (CPL) strategy—which automatically and perpetually pre-approves customers for an institution's complete consumer loan product portfolio.
CUneXus' end-to-end pre-approved lending solution includes an advanced risk-based pricing and multi-product rules engine that delivers 24/7 approval status for up to ten loan products and delivers offers at all key customer touch points, including online and mobile banking platforms, in-branch and call center communications, and through direct mail and email marketing.
It provides ultimate convenience for the customer while allowing lenders to fund more loans. The result is an increase in total loan volume and mobile banking revenue, decreased cost per loan acquisition, and increased return on investment.
Dave Buerger, Co-Founder and President of CUneXus, said, "The momentum at CUneXus is palpable. We are proud to be recognized as a semi-finalist in the upcoming Innotribe Startup Challenge and very excited for our presentation at Finovate this week."
In addition to the new product presentation and awards, Shami Patel will be joining the CUneXus advisory board. A Venture Partner at Clean Pacific Ventures Management LLC, Patel also serves on the Board of Duke University Law School and has been involved as an investor and operator of nine high growth companies, acting as COO of Alesco Financial, CFO of TRM Corporation and CEO of iATMglobal.net (acquired by NCR Corp.).
Current advisory board members include Bradley Leimer, VP of Digital Strategy for Mechanics Bank, recently listed as #11 on Bank Innovator's exclusive roundup of 2013 Innovators to Watch: 44 Executives Shaping The Future of Banking; Gary Ketelsen with 30 successful years in technology sales and management including senior executive roles with Oracle Corporation and Verity; Jasper Calcara, President of D. H. Charles Engineering, providing engineering services to clients in all 50 states and Canada; Mark DeBellis, the President of PSB Integrated Marketing, the credit union industry's premier marketing agency and former V.P. of Marketing for $10 billion Imperial Savings.
Buerger says, "We are excited to welcome Shami to the Advisory Board. I'm really proud of our team, our great resources, and all the people involved with CUneXus. We're looking forward to competing at the next stage of the Innotribe Startup Challenge and joining the brightest stars of our industry at Finovate this week."
