CustomerFirst Renewables Adds Top Finance Leader
Washington, DC (PRWEB) July 15, 2014 -- CustomerFirst Renewables (CFR) is pleased to announce and welcome Alan Zang as the company’s Vice President, Finance & Operations. Alan will be responsible for all aspects of finance, accounting, and tax operations of the company, as well as for leading process improvement, financial modeling, project structuring, and project financing activities.
Alan joined CFR in July 2014 from DaVita HealthCare Partners, a Fortune 250 healthcare services company widely respected in the healthcare space for both its culture and for developing exceptional leaders. Alan spent six years as a key member of its Mergers & Acquisitions office, where he was responsible for the valuation, structuring, and execution of a range of large-scale domestic and international corporate transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic joint ventures. Alan was involved in over 80 major transactions in various roles from lead generation to execution. Previously, Alan was a Senior Associate at Ernst & Young, where he served private equity clients on transactional and financial assurance matters. Alan earned a BS in Finance from the University of Maryland and an MS in Accounting from the University of Virginia, and is also an active licensed CPA.
“I am excited and honored to join CFR’s leadership team. The biggest personal attraction for me is joining a truly customer-focused company with a distinctive and proven value proposition, and a team filled with exceptional minds who deliver what they promise. CFR is helping to satisfy unmet market needs that are extremely important but, until very recently, were underserved. The company is creating new opportunities for large electricity users to access dedicated, economically attractive renewable solutions that truly move the needle, and I am proud to now be a part of it.”
Gary Farha, CFR’s President and CEO states “We are delighted to have Alan join our team. He strengthens our financial and deal-making expertise in a material way and, more broadly, augments our process discipline and orientation. As we continue growing, Alan will help ensure we continue delivering distinctive value to customers time and time again. He is a great thought partner and brings us a complete set of technical and tactical skills that will help take CFR to the next level.”
