New York, New York (PRWEB) December 01, 2013

If you underwent a hysterectomy, prostatectomy or another type of robotic procedure aided by the da Vinci Surgical System, the attorneys at Bernstein Liebhard LLP have launched a new website with the information you need to file a da Vinci robot lawsuit (http://www.davincirobotlawsuithelp.com/). On the Firm’s new website, those seeking to take action against the makers of this remote-controlled surgery robot can learn about complications now associated with the device, as well as updates in the growing litigation of lawsuits filed against Intuitive Surgical Inc.

Since the da Vinci surgery robot’s U.S. approval in 2000, cut ureters, torn blood vessels, surgical burns and tears to arteries, bowel injuries and even death have been named in adverse event reports filed with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Despite these serious side effects, however, a Bloomberg report published in March indicates that the healthcare technology was used in almost 500,000 procedures during 2012.* Court documents indicate that the number of da Vinci robot lawsuits is continuing to grow as well.

“Our Firm’s new site will help anyone seeking to file a da Vinci robot lawsuit to be more informed about their legal rights. On a regular basis, we hear from individuals who allegedly sustained injuries after undergoing a surgical procedure aided by the da Vinci Surgical System,” says Bernstein Liebhard LLP, a nationwide law firm representing victims of defective drugs and medical devices. The Firm is currently offering free and confidential case evaluations to potential da Vinci lawsuit claimants.
