Hotel Sorella Country Club Plaza, the luxury hotel managed by the Valencia Group, has named Daniel Posch as Director of Sales and Marketing. Beginning July 21, Posch will be responsible for the overall strategy and direction of the hotel’s marketing efforts and sales teams.
“Daniel brings a great enthusiasm and exceptional leadership skills to Hotel Sorella,“ says Hotel Sorella General Manager Robert Leyva. “He has hit the floor running and we expect wonderful things ahead with Dan on board. We are excited to have him leading our sales and marketing team.”
Before joining Hotel Sorella, Posch served as the senior sales manager at The Elms Hotel & Spa in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. While at The Elms, Posch was a vital part of the hotel’s group sales efforts during the complete restoration of the hotel and increased the association segment by nearly 400 percent. Prior to that, he was Director of Sales at Stoney Creek Inn & Conference Center in St. Joseph, Missouri.
“My goal is to see the entire Hotel Sorella team succeed,” Posch said. “If the team is successful, the property will be too. Delivering a quality experience to all guests will keep Hotel Sorella top of mind when choosing where to stay in Kansas City.”
