Darren Person Joins The NPD Group as Chief Data Strategy Officer

PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y., Jan. 28, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The NPD Group today announced that Darren Person has joined the company as Chief Data Strategy Officer. In this role, Person will lead the development of NPD's technology platform addressing clients' needs through innovations in data and analytics in response to key market demands.
Person comes to NPD from RELX Group, the global information and analytics company formerly known as Reed Elsevier. He held a number of key roles over his nine years with RELX, including Chief Architect and Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Most recently, he was SVP/CTO Platform & Capabilities and helped drive the evolution of the firm's business from print to digital. Prior to RELX, Person was the CTO for CBS Television Stations Digital Media Group and held senior technology and product leadership roles with Lifetime Entertainment, Adecco, and USA Networks.
