Millbrook, NY (PRWEB) September 13, 2017 -- 17a-4’s DataParser for Symphony has been released. The DataParser is leading middleware to collect and format regulated data sources for retention in a compliance archive. Symphony is a secure, enterprise collaboration platform that brings users together to communicate and automate workflow; internal and external teams can securely share documents and content and conduct meetings with conferencing and screensharing.
“17a-4 is thrilled to announce support for Symphony. Our DataParser roadmap for new interfaces is driven by client requests and Symphony made it to the top of our list straight away,” said Charles Weeden, 17a-4’s Managing Partner.
The DataParser leverages Symphony’s automated Content Export. This new module of the DataParser for Symphony will ensure archive compliance just as with Microsoft Skype for Business, Cisco Jabber, Thomson Reuters Eikon Messenger, Bloomberg, HipChat, InvestEdge, FactSet and other supported data sources.
DataParser has no impact on the collected data source networks or destination archives; chat users’ activities are not disrupted by the DataParser’s processes and compliance officers do not have to make changes to eDiscovery procedures. All major archiving technologies are supported allowing clients to leverage in house resources and keep compliance costs to a minimum. VMs are supported, including AWS and Azure. Message delivery options include the ability to send into an archive, to a file location or a mailbox in Exchange or Office 365. The DataParser can also deliver to the third-party data endpoint for clients using Security & Compliance retention features in Office 365.
17a-4 is continually developing new modules and adding features to the DataParser roadmap. Clients can request feature enhancements and new interfaces and 17a-4 will work with the IT, Compliance and Legal teams through beta testing to enhance the interface as requested.
