New novel, ‘The Games Master’ portrays realistic fantasy world
TORONTO (PRWEB) May 11, 2015 -- Author David Brosbell appeals to a broad target market with his unique, new medieval fantasy novel written in modern English, “The Games Master: Rise of the Black Knights” (published by iUniverse).
The Games Master is dead at the hands of Kruno, Ivan and Christian. The three comrades, together with the newly introduced Decan, find themselves in a land where two large superpower kingdoms have run out of places to conquer and are looking at each other for expansion. Can the four friends survive the battle and encounters with sorceresses, gargoyles and dragons?
Violent battles and unscrupulous war tactics using advanced weapons, unique creatures and magical arsenals balance fantasy and realism. Brosbell hopes to captivate audiences with his realistic battle scenes but warns they are not for the faint of heart.
“Everyone can bleed,” Brosbell says, “everyone can die. This is one of the central components of my writing philosophy. Nobody is invisible. Suspense builds around the fate and survival of each character. No one is impervious to death.”
