New guide from timeshare experts to be featured at 2014 Toronto Word on the Street festival

‘The Buying Curve’ utilizes authors’ years of timeshare sales experience to help readers start business of their own

David Fitzgerald has been in the timeshare sales and vacation ownership business for 28 years. During this time, he has produced close to one billion dollars in sales. While flourishing in the sales realm, he has also trained and mentored numerous salespeople, many of which have gone on to be successful themselves. Fitzgerald now aims to train an even larger audience with the writing of a book.

Karen Holden, a seasoned veteran in management and finance, has teamed up with Fitzgerald to complete their new book, “The Buying Curve: How to Truly Master the Complete Sales Process” (published by AuthorHouse), which aims to help readers blaze their own trails to sales success. Their book will also be showcased at the 2014 Toronto The Word on the Street festival.

“Sales people are always looking for a proven sales presentation, whether they are new to the business or old dogs that need new tricks,” Holden says. “In our ever more transparent market place it is imperative to evolve.”

Throughout “The Buying Curve,” Fitzgerald and Holden discuss the many concepts that have brought them success throughout the years. They also describe social media for business, something they believe is imperative to a business’s success in this day and age.

Holden and Fitzgerald hope that if readers take away one thing from reading their book, it’s that they are the sale, not the item they are selling.

“‘The Buying Curve’ helps sales people understand that how they portray themselves, and their company, has a huge effect on a consumer’s buying decision and ultimately whether or not they and their company become more successful,” Holden says.
