Mother Goose School Schedules Upcoming Events
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) August 21, 2013 -- The schedule has been set at Mother Goose School through October. Mother Goose School will host circus events as part of its theme for August and has “Kindergarten Readiness” and “Parents for Public School” sessions planned for September and October.
Mother Goose School’s August theme is Circus. Throughout the month of August, Mother Goose will have circus-related events planned. This is an opportunity for children to really clown around, practice their balancing tricks, tumbling skills, and understand the process of being part of a circus act.
Students at Mother Goose School will be learning and discussing the many aspects of the circus, including acrobatics, music, animals and clowning. With a little face paint and imagination, the young children are in for some good fun. All of their activities will integrate and promote the school’s social, academic and physical goals. Some spontaneous events will likely occur as well.
For the grand finale, Mother Goose School will have “Suzie Q the Clown,” who will be performing on August 29 at 10 a.m. There will be juggling and giggling.
In September, all MGS staff will take the opportunity to recertify themselves in CPR and first aid at the school’s annual staff in-service. MGS continues to make safety of the children and staff the school’s top priority.
In September enrolled parents, who are anticipating the kindergarten selection process, will have an opportunity to learn more at the school’s “Kindergarten Readiness workshop.” Mother Goose School also has a “Parents for Public School” presentation scheduled for October.
