U.S. Army Calls Upon 101 Mobility D.C. for Their Wheelchair Accessibility Needs
Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) May 22, 2014 -- This spring, mobility equipment provider 101 Mobility Washington D.C. was selected to improve wheelchair access at Fort Myer in Arlington County, Virginia. 101 Mobility’s professional team of installers worked hard to outfit an officer’s quarters with an aluminum modular wheelchair ramp. The ramp was a large configuration by industry standards and will provide safe and reliable ADA compliant access to the building.
This service call comes after 101 Mobility was contracted for another installation at Fort McNair. “I think the military contacted us due to the complexity and quality of work needed,” said 101 Mobility Washington D.C. owner Matt Riordan. “It really was an honor to do a project so close to the Pentagon for the U.S. Army.”
101 Mobility continues to work diligently to improve accessibility throughout the entire D.C. and metro D.C. areas. They may even end up on Pennsylvania Avenue in the near future!
