The Professional Protector Plan® for Dentists and CNA are sponsoring a new Grand Prize category on patient safety for the ADA’s 2015 Dental Ethics Video Contest. Participants are limited to current ADA student or ASDA members. Students create and submit video enactments that demonstrate the ADA’s Code(s), Principle(s), or Advisory Opinion(s). Video Submissions for the new contest category will consider ethical treatment promoting patient safety.
Contest criteria include:
- Participation is limited to current ADA student and ASDA members
- The ADA Code can be found at the ADA.org/ethics conduct
- Videos may be in the form of an original drama, comedy, documentary interviews, public service announcement, music video or any combination
- Videos should not be more than 4 and a half minutes in length
- Applicants must include two copies of the video. Each copy must be on a disc or flash drive and be formatted in standard AVI format
The Winners and Honorable Mention videos will be announced and displayed at the ADA- America’s Dental Meeting in Washington, D.C. The Grand Prize Winners (one winner in each category) will receive $2,500. The Honorable Mentions (one mention in each category) will receive $1,500.
