Parlin Dentist Encourages the Community to Give Recognition to Their Everyday Heroes

Parlin, NJ (PRWEB) August 18, 2014 -- Parlin dentist Dr. Mariana Blagoev is holding an "Honor an Everyday Hero" event for the local community. “Everyday heroes are ordinary people in our community, yet have done random acts of kindness to make a difference in someone else’s life,” said Dr. Blagoev. These heroes can be ordinary folks – local neighbors, co-workers, friends or even strangers.

"Most of us look up to great people in history, from our Founding Fathers to the great scientists and to the first man to land on the moon, etc." Dr. Blagoev added. "But how about also recognizing the day-to-day ordinary citizens who have done selfless acts on a daily basis?"

Parlin residents can submit a story through Dr. Blagoev's website (http://brightsmilesdental.com) and nominate the person they believe deserves a recognition. Weekly prizes will be awarded to the "heroes" nominated.

“It is important to acknowledge the people who are making a difference in another's life in big or small ways,” said Dr. Blagoev. The Parlin, NJ dentist has been actively involved in different community events that helps children and the needy. “I love to see people happy. Other than being a dentist and helping people improve their dental health, another way to brighten up someone's day is to acknowledge the good in them,” she said.

Dr. Mariana Blagoev is not a stranger to good deeds. She has organized Dental Emergency Days where she helped residents in her local areas with free dental care. Her last event was a “Good Deed” contest, designed to encourage the young people in her community to do good deeds.
