Dr. Stephen Edgerton, a Cosmetic and Family Dentist in Wilmington, NC has achieved Accredited Member Status in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
He achieved this accomplishment after completing a rigorous credentialing process including written and oral examinations, as well as the submission of clinical cases for examination.
Dr. Stephen Edgerton of Wilmington, NC grew up in Connecticut, Charlotte, North Carolina, Caracas, Venezuela and Bogota, Columbia. He obtained his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University, and then went into practice with Dr. David Fisher in Wallace, North Carolina. In 1991 they opened a dental office in Wilmington, North Carolina, where his daughter, Dr. Taylor Edgerton Glenn joined the practice.
Dr. Edgerton has attended the Pankey Institute since 1988 and has completed all continuum classes in advanced dental studies, as well as coursework in esthetics, advanced occlusal therapy, sleep disorder and TMD. The doctor acknowledges AACD as a major role player in his goal to become a true artist who strives for dentistry that is both excellent in form and function since becoming a member in 1995. Dr. Edgerton balances his passion for dentistry with his love for his wife and their four children. They enjoy traveling, golfing and boating.

Dr. Edgerton will join eight other dental professionals onstage to receive his Accreditation honor at AACD 2015 in San Francisco, May 6-9.
