Denver Criminal Defense Attorney David Lindsey Reaches Milestone of 25 Years Practicing Colorado Criminal Defense Law
Denver, CO (PRWEB) October 15, 2013 -- This October marks the twenty-fifth year of practice for criminal defense attorney David Lindsey. Throughout his career he has dedicated himself to the defense of the individual by subscribing to the sentiment expressed by Clarence Darrow: “You can only protect your liberties in this world by protecting the other man’s freedom”.
Mr. Lindsey is a third-generation Wyoming native and has worked and lived in the Rocky Mountain Region his entire life; he receiving his B.A. and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Wyoming. He spent four years as a public defender for the state of Wyoming, and in that capacity defended capital cases. Mr. Lindsey moved to Denver in 1992 to open a private practice, concentrating on criminal defense; over the course of the next two decades he dedicated his energies and expertise to representing defendants in state and federal courts throughout Colorado and Wyoming, handling matters at both the trial and appellate levels. Throughout his career, Mr. Lindsey has generated excellent results for his clinets winning acquittals in sex assault and murder cases as well as successfully representing individuals in many pre-trial hearing matters resulting in dismissal of all charges.
Mr. Lindsey has been called upon to share his knowledge frequently, as a mentor to young attorneys, a speaker at continuing legal education conferences, and a member of the law school faculty at the University of Denver. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar, and is the editor of the CCDB quarterly newsletter. He has been admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the 5th and 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, Wyoming, Arizona and Texas, the Colorado Supreme Court, the Wyoming Supreme Court and the Supreme Court of Arizona.
