ICTV Brands, Inc. (OTCQX: ICTV), (CSE: ITV), a direct response marketing and branding company focused on the health, wellness and beauty sector is pleased to announce a sellout of its flagship product, DermaWand on The Shopping Channel on March 19, 2015.
The Shopping Channel (“TSC”) is a Canadian English language cable television home shopping channel. TSC is a division of Rogers Media. The channel is headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario. It showcases various products which viewers can purchase either by telephone or internet. On March 19, 2015, DermaWand was scheduled for four shows on TSC throughout the day. Before the end of the final show, DermaWand had sold out of all 1,200 units TSC had loaded to sell that day. This was the first live television home shopping appearance for DermaWand in North America since the first half of 2013.
ICTV has been marketing DermaWand in Canada since September 2013. Direct Response Television (“DRTV”) sales for DermaWand in Canada were approximately $1.1 million and $3.9 million for the years ended December 31, 2013 and 2014, respectively. Thus far in the first quarter 2015, DRTV sales in Canada are approximately $1.3 million for DermaWand.
