"We decided to shut down our forum and rebuild it so that the site will have many more features and a fun atmosphere," states Maria Spear, administrator of Diablo3.org.
One of the coolest features of Diablo3.org is that it offers personalized areas for those looking to have a centralized guild section. Guilds can have any number of members and post news and forum topics for their members. They can also post videos, events, pictures, and more.
Diablo3.org is also giving away a free Diablo 3 game every Sunday. This can include any of the Diablo 3, Diablo 2, or Diablo 1 games. As an added benefit, users who already own the Diablo game can request a different game altogether if they win the weekly contest.
Diablo3.org will expand on itself with many new features in the future including a chat room, search, APIs, and more. All of these features should be active by the time the expansion pack, Reaper of Souls, is released.
