Diary of a Minecraft Zombie: Book 1 by Herobrine Publishing ( http://www.diaryofaminecraftzombie.com ) hits top 10 on Amazon’s best seller book list. As of today the Diary of a Minecraft Zombie: Book 1 is at number 8.
In the first book of this hilarious Minecraft adventure series, readers jump into the diary of a 12-year-old Minecraft Zombie named Zack. The structure of the books is set in a way that makes reading enjoyable and easier to understand for those who love the game of Minecraft. “My son, a devoted (cough "addicted") Minecraft player, was spending so much time playing the game, that to spend more time with him I started playing also. While playing, my son and I would make jokes about all the strange things you find in Minecraft and how funny it would be if Minecraft was real life. Imagine, having to "punch a tree" in order to get wood? We would crack up telling jokes about living the Minecraft life. Then we started to think about what Minecraft life would be like from a Minecraft Zombie's point of view. Right then we decided to write a diary. We wrote it in a few days, and then we published it to see if other kids would like it too. Next thing we know we'd get massive positive reviews for the book from kids and parents.” says author and writer, Will Peña.
The Diary of a Minecraft Series is meant to give children who love the game of Minecraft an opportunity to learn to love reading as well. Each book has its own hilarious Minecraft story line with the initial, Book 1, being an introduction into Zack’s life. “After the success of the first book, my son and I decided that along with the laughs, we could also provide kids with resources that would help them in their common preteen struggles. So with the help of my wife (who’s a child Psychologist) we made Book 2 about how to overcome bullying, book 3 on how to deal with family issues, book 4 was about fitting in, book 5 about friendship, book 6 about courage, book 7 about sibling rivalry, book 8 about overcoming cheating and book 9 about overcoming lying.” added Peña. There are currently 9 books in the series with book 10 coming out in 2016.
Diary of a Minecraft Zombie is a must-read for any kid who loves Minecraft. Suitable for children ages 7+.
