Exactly two decades ago, in August 1994, Rolf Diener, Doug Robinson and John Bishop established the company 'Diener Precision Pumps' in Switzerland. "From the start, it was important for us to offer our customers products and solutions tailored exactly to their requirements. 'Engineer to engineer' – we have remained true to this motto up to the present day," recalls John Bishop, co-founder and Director of Sales and Marketing at Diener Precision Pumps. 2000 – new production site:
Diener Precision Pumps gets a new state-of-the-art production plant in the Swiss town of Embrach. The high-precision gear pumps, piston pumps and valves have been and are still manufactured there.
2001 – Lodi, CA (USA) becomes Diener Precision Pumps’ center of development and innovation:
The newly established facility in Lodi, California becomes the innovative heart of Diener Precision Pumps. A team of highly specialized engineers tailors the precision pumps and valves exactly to the individual OEM customer requirements, always in close cooperation with the customers’ engineers. The transfer and production happens in Embrach.
2005 and 2007 - ISO certifications:
Since its foundation, the name 'Diener Precision Pumps' stands for high-quality precision pumps and valves. This is officially acknowledged through the certification according to medical standards ISO 9001/ ISO 13485 and the establishment of a clean room according to ISO class 7.
2014 - Intensification of international market presence, comprehensive product portfolio:
In the past 20 years, Diener Precision Pumps has evolved into a successful international enterprise, dealing with OEM customers globally. In 2014, Diener Precision Pumps manages to become the only non-Japanese supplier of a large well known Japanese company. Market presence in the USA is being intensified: In July 2014, Diener Precision Pumps exhibits for the first time at the AACC Annual Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo in Chicago, Illinois (USA). The Double Ended – Dual Dispensing Piston Pump enriches Diener Precision Pumps’ product portfolio since this year. Also in 2014, Diener Precision Pumps has successfully taken the Silencer Gear Pump Series to market worldwide. Diener Precision Pumps are always investigating alternate materials and manufacturing capabilities, and now offer a full range of gear pumps which can pump fluids containing hard particles such as ink and paint.
