MediaSignage Releases Digital Signage Software Development Roadmap Through Q2 2016 Including Enhanced Touchscreen Interactivity

Digital signage software provider announces its planned product release schedules for the next twelve months or more.

MediaSignage, Inc. (http://www.digitalsignage.com/), a provider of entry-level and enterprise digital signage software and hardware solutions around the globe is pleased to announce the company’s roadmap through the next several quarters. We wanted our current and potential clients to be well aware of the product features that will be coming available through the first couple of quarters of 2017, including a much greater emphasis on touchscreen and interactive capabilities.

Over the next several months of development, the engineering team at DigitalSignage.com will be releasing varying stages of the company’s mediaTOUCH product, game-changing interactive solution which includes many features specific to interactivity and advanced multi-touch. The mediaTOUCH enhancements will includes greater backend control of touch content, multi-touch, new product components as well as further GPU enhancements that will make the user experience for interactive digital signage more seamless, fluid and easy-to-use. The engineers are also intent on integrating Google’s updated WebKit into the SignagePlayer for Windows so as to take advantage of some of the latest enhancements inherent in using HTML5. In short, great things are coming from both a design and feature standpoint.

In addition, the company is looking to integrate its solution for greater use across all devices. This push includes a SignagePlayer application that resides on Apple TV, allowing Apple TV using to utilize the Apple TV as another avenue for delivering quality digital signage experiences. The push toward Apple will also include a new SignageStudio dmg native for Mac OS, giving enhanced capabilities across varying operating systems.

Future enhancements will also include a new StudioDashboard API for the company’s advertising buying and sharing engine, the mediaADNET as well as enhancements to the company’s mediaTV capture card tool for Windows for integrating live streaming support into the SignageStudio and SignagePlayer. Finally, the firm’s engineers are intent on adding next generation YouTube components for both Windows and Android, further increasing the availability of various types of digital signage content to businesses small and large.
