MediaSignage Releases SignageStudio Lite 1.2 With Enhanced Features
Westlake Village, California (PRWEB) November 11, 2014 -- MediaSignage, Inc. (http://www.digitalsignage.com/) provider of entry-level and enterprise digital signage announces the release of expanded features for the company’s open source digital signage product, the SignageStudio Lite. The SignageStudio Lite is the company’s latest foray into open source HTML5 digital signage. This free solution was released only a few months ago and has since greatly enhanced the MediaSignage product offerings for free digital signage. The latest updates include feature enhancements similar to the company’s SignageStudio Pro, but with the ease-of-use many are coming to expect from the SignageStudio Lite.
In addition to general bug fixes, the latest updates to the system include an improved scheduling tool for content delivery including an enhanced drag-and-drop solution for resources and scheduling timelines, YouTube & Twitter integration, content resource previewing, improved layout and enhancement on mobile devices, live presentation preview, full localization in 40+ languages, improved scene performance for handling large numbers of components, white-label control for enterprise users, NPM package manager integration and quick deployment with built-in node.js server powered by Express.js.
In addition, the SignageStudio Lite now ships as part of the pre-installed bundle with the mediaSERVER 4.20 release, giving customers more flexibility and options when designing and deploying content to their private digital signage networks. The company has also updated all API docs relative to the use of the SignageStudio Lite. Since the system is open source, the MediaSignage team has also made all source code available on Github.
“The latest feature updates are fairly expansive,” says Sean Levy, CEO. “We’ve been very busy working to provide enhanced features to our simple-to-use lite version of the SignageStudio Pro.” While the features for the SignageStudio Lite are not yet as extensive as the pro version, the user interface was made for the non-technical end-user. “As demand for our free solution grew, so did the features and complexity,” Levy says. “We’ve developed the HTML5 SignageStudio Lite to ensure we’re not leaving our most dedicated customers with something so complex it’s difficult to use.”
In addition to the SignageStudio Lite release, the company has also been expanding its footprint in the enterprise digital signage arena with the mediaHYBRID. They mediaHYBRID includes a dedicated server hosted at Amazon Web Services and includes all the features and options of the SignageStudio Pro and Lite.
