MediaSignage, Inc. Releases mediaCLOUD v. 4.15, Expanding Transitions, Labeling and Channel Connections for Enhanced Digital Signage Timelines

(http://www.digitalsignage.com/), provider of freemium digital signage hardware and softare is excited to announce the public release of SignageStudio Pro and SignagePlayer version 4.15. The latest release includes several new and enhanced features which will bolster the company’s role as a leader for open source enterprise-level hardware and software for digital signage.
This particular product release includes the long-anticipated enterprise feature of GPU accelerated transitions. A detailed video tutorial on how the transitions are controlled and operated is available on the video tutorials section of the company website. “Our latest release provides a significant product enhancement that was long overdue,” says Sean Levy, company CEO. “This is only one of many newly released and soon-to-be released features of our product.”
The latest 4.15 product release also includes an enhanced version of the Android SignagePlayer, continuous channel control for connecting channels across timelines and label queue--an easy-to-use tool for cycling between text labels. The transitions feature also allows for transitions to be applied to the labels available with the label queue.
New product and feature releases planned very soon include StudioLite v. 1.0--a powerful open source signage solution built on the pepper SDK, an API for the mediaCLOUD and mediaSERVER which will be released on Github and an enhanced scheduler for the SignageStudio. “Our roadmap for product feature releases remains full, active and exciting,” says Levy. “We’ve got a few more exciting surprises in coming releases which we think will greatly enhance the user experience for both free and premium users.”
