Digital DJ Pool Releases New Mobile Apps for iOS and Android
The original digital record pool launches new mobile app to complement its web-based platform.
BROOKLYN, N.Y., June 6, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Digital DJ Pool, the leading record pool since 2004, announces its newly released mobile apps for iOS and Android. The new apps will give DJs freedom to access Digital DJ Pool's catalog from the convenience of their phones or tablets, in addition to using the web platform from their desktop or laptop computers.
Matthew Kearney, CEO and Co-Founder of Digital DJ Pool shared the following statement in which he made the announcement:
"2019 has already been a big year for Digital DJ Pool. Not only have we relaunched with an integrated, first-of-its kind social platform for DJs, labels and artists, but we have also been focused on mobile development, and we're extremely excited and proud to now offer a native mobile experience. We're confident DJs are going to love the convenience the app introduces. Being able to listen to new tracks and add them to crates on the go is a feature our DJs have been asking for, and now they can do just that."
The primary purpose of the mobile experience is to make it easy for DJs to save songs they discover when browsing the Digital DJ Pool catalog on mobile devices, and then later access those same songs on the laptops they use for DJing in an efficient and easy workflow.
In addition, the app mirrors the web platform, so it's easy to preview and organize music while on the go with the same functionality as the web. This includes checking out trending songs, browsing curated content and charts, building playlists, and saving songs to crates, providing a seamless experience.
The app also includes a "loopers" feature for scratch DJs, unavailable on the website, that allows them to loop hundreds of beats to scratch over without missing a beat.
About Digital DJ Pool
Digital DJ Pool connects DJs with new music from labels and artists to help break new songs.
Since the 1970s, record pools have allowed labels to share music with DJs, and Digital DJ Pool first digitized the concept in 2004, when it launched its first public beta.
Labels and artists submit music to Digital DJ Pool, and member DJs subscribe for monthly access to new releases. It is the only pool that offers a trial period (for just $1), and the monthly rate is competitively priced at just $20.
