Brooklyn Public Library Adds Eight of AWE's Computer Workstations for Children to Its Library Branches
Chester, PA (PRWEB) July 09, 2013 -- AWE announced today that Brooklyn Public Library will be adding eight of its Early Literacy Station™ Bilingual Spanish edition computers to its library system.
The Early Literacy Station Bilingual Spanish edition is an all-in-one computer system designed for children ages 2-8. It features over 60 educational software programs that include a mix of Spanish-language, English-language, and bilingual activities. The Early Literacy Station offers children a safe, standalone computer that does not require an Internet connection to operate. The software content spans all curriculum areas: reading, math, science, social studies, writing, arts and music, and reference. The Early Literacy Station also feature a host of administrative features including timed sessions and usage tracking.
"AWE's computers are very popular with the kids at our branches. We have added these Bilingual Spanish versions to better serve our diverse community of children,” said Rachel Payne, Coordinator of Early Childhood Services. "For example, this bilingual element helps Spanish-speaking parents work with their children who are learning both Spanish and English."
AWE’s flagship product, the Early Literacy Station, is found in over 35% of the public library systems across the United States. The Early Literacy Station is available in English, Bilingual Spanish, and Bilingual French editions.
