Ding Ding says her poetry is inspired by the undulating emotions life can bring. She hopes readers walk away with greater senses of joy, happiness, hope and positivity long after closing the book’s cover.

“Nowadays, people forget how beautiful the things around us are and how hopeful life is when they are living with stressful feelings,” Ding Ding says. “I hope my poems will give readers a little bit of hope and happiness when it comes to life.”

A poetry excerpt from “Walk Along with Nostalgia”:

“You will never pick big peaches in a
dream
You will never fully understand the
society’s living team
See the summer alternates with winter
in the real world
I will cherish the present nice sceneries”
