Providing for the safety and comfort our disabled and elderly residents is something everyone in our community can support, and that’s what this charity drive is all about.

Coppin Insurance Agency, a Florida-based insurance firm that provides coverage to hundreds of families and businesses throughout the southern gulf coast region, is initiating a joint charity drive with local non-profit Builder’s Care in an effort to provide construction services to underserved Florida residents.

Builder’s Care is a faith-based non-profit contractor that offers at or no-cost home improvement services to the disabled and elderly. These services include repairing homes to improve livability, making residences and entryways more accessible to residents in wheelchairs, and installing ramp and fall protection to improve the safety of residents.

“Providing for the safety and comfort our disabled and elderly residents is something everyone in our community can support, and that’s what this charity drive is all about,” says Tracey Coppin Caruso, owner and principal of Coppin Insurance Agency.

To help publicize the Builder’s Care charity event, the Coppin Insurance team is hard at work creating an online social media presence and launching an email awareness bulletin to reach families throughout the region. As well, Coppin Insurance will be featuring the Builder’s Care charity drive in the next issue of “Our Hometown,” a monthly online magazine published by the firm: http://www.coppininsurance.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_39.

The Builder’s Care charity drive is only the first of many planned by Coppin Insurance Agency. As part of a permanent community improvement campaign, the firm will be selecting and working with a new Florida charity or non-profit every sixty days.

Readers who want to join Coppin Insurance Agency during the Builder’s Care charity event are invited to visit the firm’s website and make a direct contribution to the cause from this page: http://www.coppininsurance.com/Raising-A-Roof-For-Local-Families-In-Need_12_community_cause.
